Unwavering faith
allows me to know my prayers
are being answered.
I took this photo and wrote this poem today while
on my daily walk. I was surrounded by nature, thinking about how grateful I am to
be alive, how much I am thankful for, aware of all of my awesome blessings.
Spirit reminded me to stay the course and expect great things to happen. Sometimes
when we are in the valley, when things don't seem to be going as we planned, we
have a tendency to get discouraged. Sometimes we go so deep into a funk that we
actually let go of our dreams and give up on our convictions. But if something
is worth having, it is worth working for. And if it is worth working for, it is
also worth waiting for. Know that your true destiny will unfold itself in
divine right order. As the late Congressman Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. used
to say, "Keep the faith, Baby!"
